New Heated Seat Subscription in UK is introduced by BMW

BMW has highlighted a debate after it providing an online subscription to show on heated front seats in its cars in the UK for around £15 per month. Well, BMW’s monthly heated steering wheel subscription would cost around £10.

In UK, the subscriptions have already been available for the features on BMW cars for some time but the heated seat was already offered started this month. The company had said that if they would prefer, the customers will be able to enable all hardware features for a one-time payment.
Well the there was no need to visit a dealer as the features were available via BMW's
ConnectedDrive online store and those were activated remotely. The heated seat was available in
UK but the subscription would vary from country to country.
The manufacturer told that 'where heated seats, or any feature is offered within the ConnectedDrive store are purchased once a customer vehicle is ordered, no subscription or payment would be necessary'.
On the other hand, the company argues that the ability to add feature which are new will be useful for owners who would change their minds once a purchase is done.
The company, BMW had specified for second-hand
car owners that, 'as they would have the chance to add feature which the original owners failed to choose'.
Subscriptions have enabled the feature for drivers to 'experiment with a feature by making a purchase of a short-term trial before committing to a purchase', the company added to their statement. The company even made it clear that the customers can purchase the unlimited use of a feature.
